The sun is setting, you return to port to rest before other beautiful outings to the sea. It's time to clean your boat.
There are different ways to clean a boat depending on whether we are at the end of the season, that is, before winterizing the boat, or if we are between two outings. For today, we share our 3 easy steps to wash your boat between two outings.
desalt the boat
It's time to get the hose out and rinse the entire top of the boat. You don't need soap, just water!
We desalted everything: the stainless steel, the windows, the upholstery*, the chain chest and the anchor. Finally, we also put the auxiliary boat, the paddle and the other toys through the water.
* Remember to leave the cushions in a vertical position for better drying 😉
dry the boat
After desalting, it is recommended to dry well to avoid traces. The microfiber cloth will be your best ally.
recharge the energies
The best thing, especially between two sea outings, is to prepare your boat for the next time. So now it's time to fill the water tank, plug in the shore plug and disconnect the motor battery and electronic equipment. If you are almost out of fuel, going through the gas station is a good option. In the mornings there can be a lot of queue
And of course, the last and best step… prepare the appetizer. Good navigation and health!
